moise dawn was created in Venice, near the Ponte S. Moise. The name Moses Bridge not only has a biblical origin. It is also named after a Venetian patrician - Moisè Valier - who imitisated the construction of the bridge - first in stone in 947 - as well as the adjacent church of San Moisè.

The picture shows the bridge at dawn as a defining element, along with the inevitable Venetian gondolas, which are already covered for the night and seem to have snuggled up together for sleep. In the darkness, the peaceful scene is accentuated by the numerous points of light and the shimmering blue-green, illuminated water surface.
