p-magon: Lifes, Stills & Classic Cars
p-magon fine art photography are LIFES - images of people, street scenes, everyday scenes, special moments, classic street photography. Also STILLS - images of landscapes, details, graphic discoveries. And - as a special feature - images of classic automobiles: CARS.
Our image style: Authentic, expressive, unposed
p-magon photography is never posed, not pre-arranged. We value authenticity, immediacy, but not technical perfection: blur, grain, dynamic distortion and other supposed shortcomings are part of our vision and expression.
We strive to develop our very own style of image composition - especially through extensive digital post-processing of the original shots. Therefore, we are interested in photography that emphasizes these elements:
- Impression and Expression: our photography often tells stories, shows special, fleeting moments; it is penetrating and focused, yet aesthetic and composed. Blurs, low light, dynamic distortion and other shortcomings are welcome, provided they emphasize the effect. Arranged motifs do not interest us.
- Representationalism: Authenticity is important to us; recognizability of the motif is an element. Pure abstract aesthetics do not work for us.
- Color: we often reduce it to an almost monochrome reproduction, but not B/W. Color highlights and composition are important to us.
- Graphics: Composition is crucial, breaks create tension.
